Christmas Magic Illustrated
In 2020, I had the opportunity to design Christmas illustrations for the kid end of the year collection of the renowned chocolatier Jeff de Bruges!
This project, carried out within the agency Les Bons Faiseurs, was an opportunity to develop a graphic style close to children’s illustration.
Illustrated packaging in the style of 'Where's Waldo'
I opted for a light color palette for this Christmas illustrations inspired by the famous ‘Where’s Waldo’ seek-and-find game.
The calendar was meant to invites children to explore the image to discover the various Santas, creating a playful experience.
To bring this cheerful Santa family to life, I first sketched the composition by hand and then created the digital illustration.
indeed, the treatment of shadows in a textured, soft, and magical style adds depth to the overall design. At the end, each character (39 in total) contributes to the magical and bustling atmosphere.

Once we validated the main illustration, I extended the design of the Advent calendar, the flagship piece of the collection, to the other products as for exemple the tree ornements.
The illustrations for the Christmas baubles
In total, three chocolate box packagings, one mug, and three models of chocolate-filled Christmas ornaments were created using the main design for the 2021 holiday season at Jeff de Bruges.
Illustrated packaging for the marshmallow teddy bears
One of the mains product of Jeff de Bruges for this Christmas collection is the marshmallow teddy bears.
Therefore, I created a second main decore for the packaging by adorning the bears with small Christmas hats.
